Android How To – Enable Bluetooth Volume Sync on a Galaxy S8

While iOS devices automatically sync volume output with a connected Bluetooth device, most Android phones don’t – the Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of these phones. This results in your phone and headphones/speaker having separate volume controls which can get quite annoying when your phone is in your pocket but you want to be able utilise the full range of volume your headphones can offer. Thankfully, it’s super easy to enable!

Enable Bluetooth Volume Sync

To enable Bluetooth volume syncing, all you need to do is connect your Bluetooth headphones device and open up Settings Connections > Bluetooth > 3 dots in top right > Media volume sync > and switch the slider to the enabled position.

You should now be able to manage volume properly from a connected Bluetooth device, and now the volume should sync between your phone and the Bluetooth device.
